Our Approach To Calming Your Nerves
-
We are patient and empathetic (no telling off)

We help you trust your abilities

We coach you rather than instruct (if that is your preferred way of learning)
-
We will verbally guide you while you drive (when it is needed)

You will feel calmer with an expert by your side narrating what is happening inside and outside the car
-
We keep the 'support / challenge ratio' at the right level so you can develop your skills while feeling safe and supported
Could Use Extra Help To Overcome Driving Anxiety?
We offer Professional Help Using Therapeutic Techniques That Work To Face The Anxiety.
For some learner drivers learning how to drive and taking their driving test is one of the most stressful things in their lives. We have helped lots of our pupils overcome their driving anxiety and we can help you too.
We use the above mentioned approach (Our Approach To Calming Your Nerves) to create a relaxed atmosphere during driving lessons which usually helps pupils to relax and enables them to focus on their driving and stop worrying. If your anxiety is more dominant, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and talk with us about your situation. We can provide you with a driving instructor who is a qualified professional and trained in complementary therapeutic techniques, such as 'EFT'. Additional to our normal driving lessons, we offer sessions that are designed to tackle anxiety.
We are skilled in helping you manage the anxiety — by helping you deal with the thoughts that are causing your symptoms and teach you skills to relax your mind and body through the use of positive affirmations and 'Tapping' (EFT — Emotional Freedom Techniques). During the session, we will explain how to gain the required mindset to deal with the thoughts and emotions that cause the anxiety.

A positive change usually happens within the first session.
We will make sure that you are in a calm state before you start driving and you will only drive when you feel comfortable to do so. You can take a break when you need one, roll down the window for some fresh air or step out of the car for a leg stretch.
Overcoming your anxiety of driving will affect other aspects of your life, so facing the challenge will be well worth it in the end.
Disclaimer: Our therapeutic techniques incl. EFT are not intended to diagnose or treat any physical or mental disease. EFT is a complementary therapy and although it can get powerful results, it is not intended as a substitute for traditional medical, psychological or psychiatric care. We do not advocate discontinuing prescribed medication or medical, psychological or psychiatric care without consulting your doctor.
